S & O's Cherry Gunpowder Rum 25cl
A lovingly crafted fusion of our Gunpowder Rum with whole ripe cherries from NZ's Central Otago plains (in the far south of the South Island).
Bottled following the harvest of February 2020 this infusion has been maturing for about a year and a half now. The fire of the chillies in the Gunpowder Rum has been tamed by rich cassis and fruit jam flavours with strong hints of kirsch and red vermouth. Bitter, earthy chocolate is in there as well.
Bottled at 41%abv in small flasks this makes an ideal gift or basis for a one off event (like a cigar session amongst friends or as an after-dinner digestive).
[NOTE: Due to a tiny presence of crushed cherry stone kernels this rum may not be suitable for those sensitive to nuts or stone fruit.]
