The Negroni is an icon of cocktails - beloved of bartenders and amaro drinkers everywhere. This bitter sweet classic from the first Golden Age of Cocktails has here been 'gunpowdered' and lifted to a new pitch of intensity and then bottled for convenience. We've combined S&O's signature Gunpowder Rum, NZ Syrah, Pedro Ximenez sherry from Spain, orange aperitif spirit and Wellington artesian water to create a fierce twist on the classic combo of gin, sweet vermouth, and Campari. Keep it on the shelf or in your fridge until events demand an appropriate response, then pop the lid and pour over ice and serve with an orange wedge, or tall with soda. Definitely in the category of things that are 'a solution in search of a problem'. (serves roughly one and a half drinks - or one large, pirate-sized drink).
